Today we’re going to take a look on how to use solo ads for affiliate marketing, and more specificly if they are a viable option to build your list.

If you’ve been in the affiliate marketing business for a while you’ve probably heard it a million times before – the money is in the list. The bigger your list the more money you can make with less effort.

But that statement is only partially true. Having a big list is essential, but if your big list is not buying anything then it’s pretty much worthless.

The size of your list doesn’t matter, what really matters is that you have people on your list who are willing to whip out their credit cards. But how do you build a list?

Well essentially, you only need a simple opt-in funnel, a paid offer and traffic…lots of traffic.

And this is where most new marketers get stuck. They are completely clueless when it comes to driving traffic. But here’s the thing, driving traffic is NOT rocket science.

There’s only 2 ways to do it – free organic traffic or paid traffic.

Whichever way you choose to go, they both work very well but they are very different in nature.

While paid traffic can get you results fast…It can take ages to get just a trickle of traffic if you go the free route.

Another form of paid traffic that is hugely popular is solo ad traffic.

A solo ad is literally an email marketing advertisement where you use someone else’s email list to promote your own (affiliate) offer.

Because your email is the only promotion that will be sent to that email list, it is known as a solo ad.

The process is pretty straightforward – you prepare an email that will be sent to the solo ad vendor’s list, and you pay him to deliver it.

Some solo ad sellers may even write the email ad on your behalf to get the highest conversions.

If they offer this service and you’re planning to buy clicks, I’d say let them write the ad because they know what gets people to click.

You can buy anything from 100 to probably 10 000 clicks if you want, and you’d pay around $0.40 up to $1.00 per click.

Although it is quite expensive, it is probably the fastest way to send traffic to your offers…

But are solo ads a reliable traffic source to build your email list?

Some marketers swear by them, while other marketers wouldn’t even touch them if you held them at gunpoint.

However, in this case the truth lays somewhere in the middle. Yes you can use solo ads to build a list and make money from that list.

But it is NOT going to work for everyone. When you want to build a list using solo ads you need an entirely different approach.

By that I mean, you most likely need another offer, your funnel structure needs to be different, and your follow up sequence needs to be more aggresive.

A Normal And Most Commonly Used Opt-In Funnel Would Look Something Like This

Well, this kind of funnel is NOT going to convert very well with people on email lists from solo ad vendors.

They will opt-in, but by the time they’ve landed on your bridge page they just think – Here’s another dude telling me how to make a thousand dollars for free. Yeah right, and they’ll just click away.

Now you might be thinking what does it matter, I have their email address and my email follow up sequence will do the trick. Well it won’t, unless you’re going to mail them up to 6 times per day.

Never forget, these people are on literally hundreds of lists and receive hundreds of emails per day. Your one email a day will be drowning in a sea of unopened emails.

To really get the most out of your solo ads you need to follow these rules

1.Your paid offer must scream Quick and Easy. The more hype on the sales page the better.

Plus your offer should have a low entry barrier, preferably around $12 or less, and a sales funnel with at least 3 up-sells which could potentially cover your ad spend.

2.Get rid of your freebie. These people have seen them all and they couldn’t give a rats arse about your freebie.

3.Ditch your bridge page. You don’t have to inform people that the freebie is on it’s way because you have none, and they have zero interest in another rags to riches story.

4.Send them straight from your squeeze page to your paid offer. And remember, the more hype the better.

5.Send them at least 4 to 6 SHORT hyped up emails a day. NO storytelling, NO let me show you how to do something…Just SHORT emails that SELLS them an offer.

6.Keep sending them emails until they buy your stuff, unsubscribe, or you get rid of them by removing unresponsive subscribers from your lists.

7.Rinse and repeat…CONSISTENTLY!

An Effective Opt-In Funnel To Use With Solo Ads MUST Look Something Like This

A list build with solo ads should really be treated as a churn and burn model and that’s why so many marketers dislike using solo ads.

They want to build trust and rapport with their subscribers by offering value first and then promote relevant offers along the way.

If you go for the know, like & trust model then solo ads are not for you. Unless you build an entirely separate list just for solo ads, which is exactly what I did – one list for solo ads and another one for all other traffic sources.

If You Want To Use Solo Ads Then I’ve Got Some Tips That You Should Consider Before Spending Any Money

1.Always buy your solo ads straight from the vendor’s website and not from market places such as Udimi.

While these are great places to do some research on the vendors, you should be aware that these market places have their own additional fees that must be paid.

The solo ad vendor will include those fees in his price per click, and therefore it’s way cheaper to buy the clicks directly from the solo ad vendors website.

Every vendor worth his salt will have a website of his own. If they can’t be bothered to set up a simple website I would be very wary of the quality of traffic they provide.

2.Always ask the vendor how he build his list. You want to buy clicks from a vendor who build his list either through organic traffic, Facebook ads, Google Ads, etc

Stay away from vendors who bought their lists from other solo ad vendors because you might end up paying for clicks that come from burned out lists.

Also ask if the list was built using double opt-ins? Did he use freebies to built the list? Are there real buyers on his list?

You really want to look for double opt-in lists that were created with sales funnels, and verify that they have successfully sold to that list in the past.

3.Always track your clicks. Sometimes solo ad vendors will do this for you, but this is a courtesy. You need to measure how many clicks you get to protect yourself from getting scammed.

Plus you definitely want to know which one of your pages converts the best.

You can do a Google search for popular tracking tools such as ClickMagick or ClickMeter.

4.And last but not least always split test your emails. Ask the solo ad seller if you can split test your emails.

You should use two different subject lines in one test and than use two different emails in another test. See which one converts better. Keep the winners and ditch the losers.

Affiliate Marketing Using Paid Ads – Make Money With ShareASale And AdClercks

Lets face facts, free traffic is a long term strategy. It literally takes forever to get results, especially if you’re just starting out. So, in this post I want to share a simple but very effective strategy for affiliate marketing using paid ads.

So yes, this will require a small investment to execute, however if you watch your numbers closely and you understand the math, you can make a killing with this strategy. It might not be for everyone, but for the right person, this could really pay off.

But first, you need to understand a couple of terms. Internet marketing jargon, so to speak.

EPC = Earnings Per Click

Essentially, this is how much you will earn on average everytime someone clicks on your link.

IMPRESSIONS = How many times a webpage or element of a webpage is used.

This is basically when someone visits a webpage or a particular section of a webpage, it counts as an impression.

CLICKS = This is a marketing metric that counts the number of times users have clicked on a digital advertisement to reach an online property.

When someone clicks on your advertisement, link or banner, that counts as a click.

Alright…Now that you understand what those three terms basically mean…I want you to understand that you need to generate traffic in order to create impressions.

Got it? Good. Let’s get cracking.

Step 1 Create an account on AdClercks

If you visit a site called Adclerks, you will find a platform that specializes in advertising.

It has a large variety of websites in many different categories that you can advertise on for a small monthly fee.

The cool thing here is that each website that you can advertise on tells you how many impressions it gets per month and how much it will cost you to advertise on that website per month.

An example would be a site that gets 776k impressions a month and will cost $15 a month to have a banner ad on that site.

Now…that is your traffic mechanism.

Step 2 Create an account on Shareasale

Next I want you to head over to a site called Shareasale.

Shareasale is a platform like Clickbank or WarriorPlus where you can sell products as a vendor and promote products as an affiliate.

Go ahead and sign up for a free Shareasale account.

Next head over to the health category and find a good product to promote. You are looking for good EPC’s, high conversion rate, frequent sales, and decent commission rates.

Also, how long has the product been selling? The longer it’s been selling, combined with good numbers on those other things I mentioned means the more reliable and proven the product is.

Shareasale is going to show you this information. You just need to be able to know what you are looking at.

Once you find your offer, go ahead and scroll down to the button that says “Creative Preview” and you’ll be able to see the banner ads that you can use to sell this thing.

Step 3 Do the math

Once you get approved for the offer, it’s time to start getting the ads out there and making some money.

So head back over to Adsclerk and find a website to advertise on that makes sense for your offer.

Now the numbers matter here so listen up…

Let’s say you want to advertise on a website that will get you 542,000 impressions every month and for that you are going to pay $75/mo.

Let’s estimate that .01% of those impressions become clicks that will generate traffic for the product you are promoting.

Now that is very conservative and it’s the equivalent of around 54 people visiting that sales page of your product.

Now, let’s say your product has an EPC of $45.19. Well if you take those 54 people and you multiply it by the earnings per click you will get $2,440.26.

Next we need to subtract the amount that you spend on advertising, which is $75. That’s going to leave you with a total of: $2,365.26

So the numbers in this example make sense. Even if you cut the earnings in half, you still are looking at over a thousand dollars a month in profit.

The truly unknown variable here is how many impressions will become clicks.

We estimated our example at .01% but we see that if it was even half of that we would still make over a thousand dollars a month on an offer with around $45 EPC’s and a $75 a month ad spend.

Okay, so let’s run down the steps on this one:

1) You can find great products to promote on Shareasale. I recommend that you go for health products when using this strategy.

2) You can get your traffic from Adclerks.

3) Paid advertising is about testing. See what is working for you and what is not. Make sure the numbers add up.

4) Ditch the losers and focus on the winners.

5) Invest a percentage of your gains to scale up your campaigns and test out new products.

6) Rinse and repeat.

Optional – You might want to create a bridge page where you collect the visitors email address first before you send them to the sales page.

By doing so, you’ll be able to re-market to them over and over again and you’ll definitely increase your chances of making the sale.

Not sure if this strategy is for you – Here are a few things to consider…

There are barriers to entry with a method like this and that keeps your competition down.

What are those barriers to entry? I mean, I just made it sound easy right?

Well, let’s look a little closer…

First, it poses a learning curve. You have to figure out how to use Shareasale and Adclerks.

Second, it requires business math and critical thinking. You have to look at your numbers and understand what the heck you are looking at.

Third, it requires investment in advertising. Many people always want the free method. They are not willing to put an investment on the line to try something new.

These three barriers to entry will keep a lot of your competition at bay. The question now becomes, could this be the next big move in your online journey?

An Easy 3-Step Action Plan To Make Money With Affiliate Marketing Without Showing Your Face

In this post I’m going to outline a simple strategy to make money with affiliate marketing without showing your face.

Not only are we going to do it remaining completely anonymous, but we’re also going to do it without having a blog or website, and we’re going to do it by using a very underrated free traffic source.

Now I’m just going to be honest, showing your face in a simple video or at least a photo of yourself is definitely going to get you more sales because it builds more trust and likeability.

I know not everyone is comfortable doing that but don’t worry there is still hope. All you have to do is follow along and implement the steps that I’ve laid out for you in this post.

So without further ado… let’s get started

Step 1 Find A Product To Sell

You will need to find a high quality product that is already proven to sell.

If you picked your niche already – that’s great. Just head over to Google and search for the best products in your niche that have an affiliate program.

For example, if you do a Google search for best keto affiliate products then you’re going to find several posts where you’ll get some great ideas for affiliate products that you can promote.

If you haven’t found your niche yet, what I would do is just head over to Clickbank, go into the marketplace and just hit on the search icon.

By doing so all of the products on Clickbank are going to show up. Then you sort the results by gravity, which means that the top selling products are going to show up first.

Just look through this list and see if you can find some products that are appealing to you in a niche that you are at least a bit interested in.

Make sure that you choose a product that has a JV page for affiliates. On that page you’ll find all the resources and tools that you can use in your promotion such as email swipes, graphics and banners

Once you’ve found a suitable product to promote, get your affiliate link and save it somewhere on your computer.

And that brings us to…

Step 2 Build Your Funnel

There are a few different ways you can build a funnel and I’m going to give you some very basic examples.

First, you can build a simple pre-sell page with the most important information about the product and a button that is going to take the visitor straight to the sales page.

This is a very simple approach but it isn’t the most effective way of doing things. There is a far better way that is at least going to double your sales.

Instead of sending people straight to the sales page, I would have some way to capture their email address first.

By doing that you’re building an email list and you could set up an automated email sequence with several different emails promoting your affiliate offer.

On your landing page you want to create some curiosity about your offer and insert a button that says something like “Yes I Want To Learn More” or “Watch This Video Now”

When people click that button a pop-up shows up where they have to enter their name and email address. After that they will be redirected to the sales page.

The third way you could set up your funnel is to have a free lead magnet. You’re not selling anything here, you’re just giving away something for free that is highly related to your paid offer.

When people enter their email address they get your free lead magnet and then they’re added to your email list.

The key here is to have an email sequence of at least 7 emails that are being sent out, where you give value and build rapport with your subscriber.

Once you’ve gained their trust you can start to gently promote your paid offers.

Whichever way you choose to go, these are all simple funnels that don’t require technical skills to set them up. If you can drag & drop and copy & paste then you are good to go.

Apart from being free to get started, all these platforms have several step by step video tutorials either on their own website or on YouTube.

And this brings us to…

Step 3 Getting Traffic

To get traffic to your funnel we’re gonna use what I would call an underrated free traffic source.

Nowadays it’s being talked about more and more but still I feel like it is underrated. That traffic source is Pinterest.

The great thing about Pinterest is first of all, you don’t have to show your face. You can just create pins and post them on the platform.

Also, if you take a look at some facts about Pinterest you see that 48% of it’s visitors use the platform for shopping purposes.

That of course is great because what we are trying to do here is to sell our product through Pinterest.

Once you have your affiliate product and funnel set up, all you need to do is create content related to that product and send people to your funnel.

To create your pins you can use a free tool called Canva and you just create a new design. Search for Pinterest and they have a bunch of templates that you can use for your pins.

The main goal of your pins should be to get clicks to your funnel and there are a few things I found that really helps to get more clicks and more impressions.

1.Make it very clear what your pin is about.

If you’re selling woodworking plans for example, then use the keyword woodworking plan.

Use that keyword in the pin title, in the pin description, in the image, in the pin board name, and preferably on the page that you are linking to.

By doing so, you have that keyword in all those places and Pinterest will know instantly what your pin is about.

2.Make use of long tail keywords.

For example, I’m in the make money online niche and if I try to make a pin titled ” The Best Way To Make Money Online” it usually flops.

However if I get more specific and use long tail keywords like “The Best Side Hustle For Men Without Technical Skills In 2022” it usually does a lot better.

So try to be specific with your keywords and use long tail keywords.

The great thing about this strategy is that once your funnel is up and running, all you really have to do is double down on Pinterest and start uploading pins consistently.

Every pin should have a link that points back to your squeeze page, and after a while you can start adding to your email sequence and promote other related products.

Do keep in mind that getting your first commission is probably not going to happen overnight. It will take work and dedication from you. Give it time, be consistent, and you’ll reap the rewards later.

The ability to drive traffic is one of the most vital skills that any online marketer should have, regardless of whether they are an affiliate or a product creator. For affiliates this is even more important.

Affiliate marketers send visitors to squeeze pages or affiliate offers they promote. They do not need to create products, sales pages or handle customer support. Driving traffic is their main job.

If you want to be an affiliate marketer, you must learn how to generate traffic. You don’t need to know every traffic strategy on the planet, but you must know at least a few in order to generate consistent traffic.

In this post I’m going to share 2 free traffic sources that always worked well for me. They are easy enough to implement and don’t require an existing following on social media or YouTube.

As a matter of fact, you don’t have to be social butterfly or a wannabee movie star to use these traffic strategies.

So without further ado…

Here’s How To Get Free Traffic For Affiliate Marketing…Or Any Other Venture That You Have On the Interwebs

Traffic Source 1 – Medium

You are probably already familiar with this platform but did you know that over 26% of that traffic is coming from the United States? Now just in case you’re keeping score, that’s over 44 million people in the U.S. alone that frequent Medium every single month.

A few really interesting things about this site that you should know, now these are very important so listen up:

1) Medium will pay you for your content, based on how many people read it and like it.

2) Make no mistake about it, people ARE reading content on this site. It is alive and well, and you can be a part of that action.

3) You can only read 3 articles a month for free on Medium. With 170 plus million people a month visiting, you can safely assume that there are MANY paid readers on the site.

What that means is that the people who will be reading your content on Medium, are proven to pay for content they find valuable to them on the internet. They are proven buyers.

4) You can link out to anything you want in your articles. So if you can create impact and develop a readership on Medium, not only will you be getting paid, but more importantly you will start to develop a steady stream of organic free traffic to whatever you want.

So how do you break into a site like medium and start getting traffic?

Well, first let me just say there is a plethora of information online already about people driving traffic with this amazing free blogging platform, however a few points that will really serve you well here:

1) Strong Headlines – Medium is a blogging platform and many of it’s readers actually pay for the content. They value a great article as much as anyone. But the first step to getting their attention is a great headline for your article.

Now there are a lot of free headline generators, checklists, and tools that can help you come up with great headlines out there. The big thing is to know you need that good headline and to be consciously trying to get it.

2) Niche Specific – Make the conscious decision to be very “niche-centric” with your publishing. Don’t step outside of your lane. Don’t get me wrong, you can talk about whatever you want, however make sure every article circles back around to your niche.

If you are in the health and weight loss niche, sure you can talk about a random vacation trip to the Bahamas, or a seemingly arbitrary trip to the grocery store…but NEVER forget the golden rule:

It’s not about you. It’s about them. In this case, THEM equals the people in your niche who you want to pull around you.

So that random vacation trip or that arbitrary grocery store run that you write about? It needs to have a lesson or a takeaway, that circles things back around to your niche. Something that your niche market can learn or get from it.

3) Publish Consistently – This one is a constant for almost all forms of free traffic. If you want to see results you need to publish consistently. So put yourself on a schedule. Publishing daily will produce maximum results, but publishing 3 to 5 times a week is great.

4) How long should your articles be – Medium’s data scientists found that 7 minutes is the optimal length for a Medium story. Now that translates to around 1,500 words.

Now those last two points…

Does that mean that you HAVE to write 3 to 5 times a week on Medium to see success?

No. But it is the fast track. Does it mean that every article you write HAS to be 1500 words? No. It’s just an average optimal length based on data.

The truth is your articles can be as long or as short as they need to be to create impact. It’s all about getting attention and making a point that people are interested in on this platform.

If you have thought about medium in the past but never tried it as a way to drive traffic, OR maybe you have tried it but failed, I urge you to give it another go and see if this one might be right for you and your business. It’s a huge opportunity.

And this brings us to…

Traffic Source 2 – WordPress.com

Listen, whenever I tell someone about WordPress.com I immediately have to explain the difference between that site and WordPress.org.

WordPress.org is where you can download the website building software that you install on your website. A lot of people use it. I mean a whole lot. Over 455 million sites use WordPress. To put that in perspective, it is something like 37% of all sites on the entire internet. Wow but…

Now, all that success overshadows WordPress’ other platform, and that other site is where the opportunity lies. What we are talking about today is WordPress.com. Yeah, I know it’s a little confusing. Confusion never helps, but in this case, there is opportunity here.

WordPress.com is a free, hosted version of WordPress that enables you to build a simple blog or website in just a couple of minutes. It’s essentially a free blogging platform.

Don’t sleep on this one. WordPress.com gets around 340 million visitors a month. Over 21% of that traffic is coming from the United States. That’s over 71 million people visiting this site from America alone.

That’s all well and good but how can you capitalize on all that traffic? How can YOU get a little taste of the glory?

Well the beauty of WordPress.com is it’s “reader” dashboard. It comes with a simple search bar, that when you type in a relevant niche related keyword, it’s going to bring up recent, related topics that are gaining traction.

So let’s break this down:

1) Use the reader dashboard to find trending niche related articles and content.

2) You can then pick a trending piece of niche related content, take a few bullet points, and think about what your OWN two cents to the conversation would be.

3) Next, write your own piece of content about that subject. Be sure to use a similar, yet not the same headline. Be sure to shout out and reference the original article. Be sure to add your own unique points of view.

For example, if that original article offered 5 ways to get more traffic, perhaps you could summarize that original article, reference it, and then offer two additional ways that you thought would help readers of the original article.

4) Publish that piece of content right there on WordPress.com and be sure to link back to your own assets, products, or website.

As with all these free traffic resources, the key is to be consistent with your actions. Whether that’s publishing consistently or submitting consistently, the free traffic game is all about being consistent with what you do.

Strategies like WordPress.com and Medium, compliment each other very nicely. Imagine publishing 1500 word articles on Medium and then summarizing those articles into 500 word short articles for WordPress that could actually link to the Medium article for a more in depth look.

There are a lot of ways to utilize this kind of strategy, so that you are getting the most out of your content. If I write a 1500 word article, I’m not going to be so quick to move onto the next thing. I want to squeeze every last drop of content fuel out of that thing.

Whether it’s summaries, checklists, cheat sheets, or another form…I think it’s important to get more out of the work you put into something.

If writing a 1500 word article is the equivalent of putting in an 8 hour day and getting paid for 8 hours…then finding ways to get that content in multiple places in slightly different formats is the equivalent of putting in an 8 hour day and getting paid for 16 hours. It’s a winning formula.

It’s a fact that you can easily double your sales by providing a bonus. To present that bonus you’ve got several options like a WordPress site or any of the well known page builders. These assets often come with a hefty monthly fee that most beginners don’t have. But there are other options.

First And Foremost…Are Bribes And Bonuses Really Necessary?

This topic has been frequently discussed, particularly in the ‘make money online’ niche. Many affiliates often stack 20 to 50 or more ‘free goodies’ for buyers who purchase through the affiliate’s link.

These digital products are often downloaded via one of the countless PLR membership sites available. The bonuses are then given an unrealistic value, such as “$1797 real-world value.” Despite this, you’re unable to buy a can of coke with these ‘high value’ bonuses.

While giving bonuses might be a good approach to encourage subscribers to buy through your affiliate link, the bonus must be unique, useful, and not overly hyped up. But what is an excessive number of bonuses? Just ask yourself – What will your buyer do with 50 additional products?

Generally, the biggest affiliates offer three or four highly relevant and worthy bonuses that their customers would really like to get. When you have your own product that isn’t freely available on over a hundred PLR sites, your customer will recognize the value. Even more so if you give away a product that people are actually paying for.

Let’s assume you’re selling a popular WordPress plugin, providing it as a bonus to another vendor’s software will result in considerably higher conversions. Giving away 50 irrelevant eBooks that date back several years will not help your cause. Just use your common sense while promoting.

And this leads to the following question. Where does it all end?

Some marketers refuse to provide bonuses, instead relying on the goodwill and loyalty they’ve build up with their list to help them close sales. This also works… but you must be realistic. Most new marketers make the mistake and fail to see the pool in which they are swimming.

You need to consider the market in which you’re competing. If you’re offering a newly launched product and just about every other affiliate is providing bonuses, greed will almost always prevail. Your subscribers will be intrigued by the bonuses of your competitors and may decide to buy from them rather than from you.

That’s just the way it is. In the MMO niche, buyers are on several lists. When a new product is released, there is always a hype surrounding it, and everyone and their grandmother will mail for it. .

Your subscribers are once again exposed to a plethora of offers and bribes to get the product through several affiliates. It’s a buyer’s market, and they have a lot of options. You’ll most likely lose the battle if you don’t have a bonus.

In the end, it all comes down to your niche and what your competitor’s are doing. Offering a bonus just might help to convert a cautious visitor into a paying customer. What you need is the ideal bonus at the right place and right time.

Here’s How To Make A Bonus Page For Affiliate Marketing For Free

We’re going to build our bonus page using Google Sites. If you wonder why we’re using Google Sites, let me explain.

First of all, it’s 100% free to use and the only thing that you need is a Google account. So, if you don’t have a google account yet, then head over to Google and create one.

Secondly, this page builder is very easy to use so even people with no technical skills whatsoever are able to build an eye-catching page.

And last but not least, Google sites is probably the only free page builder that will not show any annoying third-party ads on your page. This is very important because on your bonus page the only clickable links should be your affiliate links.

Anyways, enough chit chat so let’s get cracking. You can basically watch over my shoulder as I create the page from start to finish.

== How Create A Free Bonus Page Using Google Sites ==

Right then, now that you’ve got your bonus page up and running it’s time for the last phase of this process…

How To Deliver The Bonuses To Your Customers

To keep things simple we’re going to use a couple of other free services from Google, such as Google Drive, Google Docs and YouTube.

1.Step 1 – Google Drive

Google Drive is a cloud based storage where you can store your PDF and ZIP files, or other types of documents that you want to give away as a bonus. Google Drive is completely free to use and they offer up to 15 GB of storage space, which is more than enough to get started.

Once you’ve uploaded your files you can create a shareable link. That’s the link that you need to paste into your Google Doc (see Step 3).

2.Step 2 – YouTube

If you’re giving away videos, whether it be your own or videos that you have the rights for, you want to upload them to YouTube and keep them as unlisted.

This way your videos are hosted on YouTube but they are not visible for the main public. Only people who have the video link will be able to watch these videos.

It’s needless to say that this is the link that you want to to paste into your Google Doc (see Step 3).

3.Step 3 – Google Docs

Your Google Doc will literally function as your download page. On this document you want to put all the links that you’ve previously created within Google Drive or YouTube. If you’ve got the rights to give away entire courses you can also put that access link on your Google Doc.

When you’ve pasted all the links into your Google Doc, you want to create a shareable link. That’s the link that you want to share with your customers.

If you’re promoting products from market places such as Warrior Plus, JV Zoo or Paykickstart, you’ll be able to deliver your bonuses automatically.

Just paste your link in the box that says ” Buyer Bonus URL” and a blue access button will be added. This button will give your customer access to the bonuses.

Unfortunately, ClickBank doesn’t provide this service. When you’re promoting a ClickBank offer you will have to deliver your bonuses the old fashioned way. In other words, you’ll have to provide the “bonus link” to your customer via email.

Building A Buyers List By Delivering Your Bonuses

The biggest disadvantage of being an affiliate is that you don’t collect the email addresses from your customers. That privilege is reserved for the vendors only.

But building a buyers list is very important. As a matter of fact, it will be the most valuable asset of your entire business because people who have purchased from you will be much more likely to buy again.

When you have a list of buyers, you can always promote new products that will appeal to these people and you will be able to generate sales over and over. There is no limit to what you can achieve. Luckily, there is an easy way to build a buyers list as an affiliate.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Instead of providing a direct link to your Google Doc you want to send people to an opt-in form first.

So, you’ll need to create a list inside your auto-responder and call it “bonus_buyer_list”. Once your list is created you’ll need to create a simple sign-up form.

Connect that sign-up form with the list you’ve created and with the URL of your Google Doc. Let your auto-responder host the sign-up form and copy the URL that will be given to you. Paste the URL of your auto-responder in the “Buyer Bonus URL” box and click save.

Now your customers have to fill in the form first before they’re redirected to your Google Doc. They will get there bonuses and you will have their email address, so everybody wins!

If you want to build an automated marketing funnel, one of the first and crucial steps you should take is doing some market research.

Without the proper knowledge of what your market desires or wants, you will not be able to build out your funnel with compelling offers, and your efforts to convince your prospects to buy from you will fall on deaf ears.

So who are your ideal customers, and who’s willing to buy your products?

Well to find the answers to both of these questions we’ll have to do market research, and here are the most common questions that you should consider when defining your ideal customer:

• What is it that they eventually want to achieve?
• What is their real problem and is it something that they can’t live without solving?
• What kind of goals do they have in their personal life?
• Do they have problems that they are not aware of?
• Do they try to satisfy any emotional needs?
• What are the things that are constantly spinning through their minds?
• Are they afraid of taking any risks?
• What kind of mistakes do they make?
• What could you offer that would make their life easier?
• How do they measure success and failure?

The answers to these questions should really define who your ideal customer is.

You seriously don’t want the definition of your ideal customer to be too broad, because most likely your messaging will not resonate with these people. Now this doesn’t automatically mean that you can’t sell outside of this audience.

These are purely a set of guidelines to help you stay on point with your marketing and message.

When you set up your very first funnel and don’t have a customer base, you would need to start by conducting primary research:

• The best way to conduct primary research is to interact with your website visitors
• You can also create a survey for the visitors of your website

Use some kind of reward system to convince visitors to participate in your survey.

Always make sure that you have a good understanding of the product that you promote.

Map out your products features and their benefits and see if you can find any shortcomings. As a marketer you need to be able to lay out the features of a product and to match it to what your ideal customer is looking for.

If their is a mismatch then you should change the product or your ideal customer isn’t who you think he was.

Determine the benefits to feelings and outcomes.

No matter what the benefits of your products are, your customers will buy the end result. What is the end result for the customer when they buy your product?

People don’t buy the latest version of the Iphone because they can make a phone call and it has all the newest apps, they buy them because the way it makes them feel.

Most of the time buyer decisions are based on emotions, determine the emotions and feelings of your ideal customer is your key to success.

Map out your power words

Power words are words that will cause a reaction in your customers mind, either good or bad, it doesn’t really matter. The point is to evoke a reaction.

Mapping out power words in the market research phase is proven to be a very effective way to get to know your customers.

In the make money online niche some of the negative power words are:

• fail
• zero
• overwhelmed
• never
• impossible

Some of the positive power words in the make money online niche are:

• easy
• amazing
• instantly
• effective
• refreshing

Always find out what the prospect objections are.

No matter what kind of product you’re trying to sell, many of your ideal customer will have an objection. As a marketer it is your job to identify that objection, and turn it around to your advantage in your sales funnel copy and your messages.

So these were some of the basic guidelines on how to identify your ideal customer, put these into action and you’ll see that selling products suddenly became a whole lot easier.

We all know that getting approved as a new affiliate on Warrior Plus can be a drag to say at least. Reason being, you don’t have an affiliate score and vendors are scared that you’ll send junk traffic that will affect their EPC. But how do you build an affiliate score if you don’t get approved for jack shit? Well, in this post I’ll show you a simple strategy to get approved as an affiliate on Warrior Plus fast, and even better, it’s completely free to implement as well.

Refund rates will also have a negative impact on your affiliate score. Stay away from dodgy vendors that just rehash info-products and churn out untested theory that don’t work in the real world.

When customers ask for a refund after purchasing these digital piles of rubbish your affiliate score will go down. Rule #1, if you’re just starting out refrain from crappy products or you will be in the “not approved zone” forever.

As a matter of fact, you should NEVER promote junk offers. You’re better off choosing reputable products that don’t make pie in the sky claims. Not only will they be around for a long time, but your customers will thank you for recommending them.

To find your affiliate score on Warrior Plus you’ll need to click on your username. Choose “My Account” from the drop-down menu and a new window will open. Click on the Account Summary tab and scroll down and you’ll see your affiliate score.

Before we crank up that affiliate score there’s just one thing left to do…

If you want to be a successful affiliate, you MUST get the basics right. You need to be familiar with the affiliate network that you are using.

Lots of new affiliates are completely clueless on how to actually use Warrior Plus. They dabble around on the network and have no idea of what they’re doing.

You really need to understand all the metrics BEFORE you pick an offer to promote. This will save you a lot of grief down the line.

My ol’ pal Charles will show you how to use the affiliate menu in the video below. It’s an older video and the user interface of Warrior Plus might have changed a little by the time you’re reading this BUT the core principles remain the same.

== How To Use The Affiliate Menu On Warrior Plus ==

Now with that said and done, let’s get into the more exciting stuff and look at our simple strategy to get approved as an affiliate on Warrior Plus fast.

So what is this simple strategy I’m talking about?

While some of you might have tried some other things before, rest assured this strategy doesn’t involve any of the usual stuff:

• NO “could you please approve my affiliate request” videos
• NO friend requesting vendors on Facebook who are not bothered to read your message
• NO butt kissing vendors to increase their already over the top ego.

This is something that is much easier to do. On top of that, it will build up your affiliate score with no refunds, builds up your email list and you can make a few sales in the process.

We’re going to be an affiliate for the free front end offers that are listed on Warrior Plus, because a free sale counts as much as a paid one, and you could make some money here and there on the rest of the funnel.

We’re also going to offer a bonus in the process, so you can build your list at the same time.

Why do these vendors offer a free front end in their funnel, you might ask? Well, the answer is quite simple, they use the power of affiliates to build up their email list and make a nice chunk of money at the same time.

Now truth be told, this isn’t going to make you boatloads of money, but then again creeping up Mosh Bari’s butt isn’t going to make you an overnight millionaire either.

Besides that, the whole point of this strategy is to build up your affiliate score fast, once you’ve achieved that you can start thinking about making tons of money.

It’s Time To Put Our Sneaky Strategy Into Action

Step 1: Find a good free offer with a back end funnel

• In Warrior Plus click on the Affiliates option in the menu bar.
• Click on Offers in the drop-down menu.
• The easiest away for spotting free offers is to see a high value in the Conv. Rate column (look for something over 30%).
• There will also be a relatively low value in the Visitor Value column. Probably less than $1
• See what the offer is about. Is the offer still relevant and is the sales page still working?
• If you found an offer that you like then get yourself a free copy, go through the funnel and see what the product looks like (you don’t have to buy any of the up sells)

NOTICE: $1 Dollar offers or low-priced front end offers with a price range in between $4 – $7 also work extremely well for this strategy.

Step 2: If you feel comfortable to promote the product, request your affiliate link

Now because this is a free product chances of being denied affiliate approval will be minimal BUT do make sure that you have the following things in place:

• Make sure you’re Warrior Plus profile is completed and up to date (picture of yourself, short bio and long bio, address, website, Facebook, YouTube,…)
• If you’re a new affiliate with no experience, you MUST include a note to the vendor with your request.
• Inform the vendor that you have access to his product and that you would like to promote the product
• Don’t lie, if you’re a new marketer then tell them
• Explain how you want to promote the product (website, YouTube, Facebook,…)
• Tell them that you will not use any kind of cheap traffic sources
• Inform them that you are perfectly fine with delayed commissions
• Thank them for their time and for considering your approval

Step 3:Once your request is approved, create or find a simple bonus that complements the product

• Checklist or report (create one yourself or find one that you can give away)
• YouTube explainer video or how to guide (create one yourself or find one that you can share)
• Course that you can give away (create one yourself or find one that you can give away)
• Free membership (Groovefunnels, My Online Startup, Free Monthly Websites, Gorilla Marketing Pro,…)

Step 4: Create a simple one page website where you host your bonus and brand yourself

This 1-page website will function as your bonus download page.

• Use your own WordPress site or any of the multiple free website builders ( Wix, Weebly, Google Sites or even a Google Doc )
• Introduce yourself and tell people what you stand for (short video or written text with a picture of yourself)
• Share the link to your bonus

Make sure to copy and save the URL of your 1-page website because you’ll need it when you hook up your autoresponder.

Step 5: Create a list and signup form in your autoresponder

If you don’t have an autoresponder then create a free account with Aweber or get a 30-day free trial with GetResponse.

First you’ll need to create a list and call it free_gift_bonus (this is just an example, call it whatever you want but just remember the origin of this list)

Once your list is created you’ll need to create a sign-up form.

Keep it simple

• Headline: Where should we send your bonus?
• Name
• Email
• Send it here button

Connect the sign-up form with the list that you’ve created and with the URL of your 1-page website. Let your autoresponder host the sign-up form and copy the URL that will be given to you.

Step 6: Go to Warrior Plus and locate for your affiliate link

• Choose link options
• Paste your autoresponder URL in the “Buyer Bonus URL” box and click save.

Step 7: Your set up is finished, so now it’s time to promote your free giveaway

Promote it where ever you can BUT don’t just blatantly spam your link all over the internet. Use your own webite, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Forums, Blog comments,…

IMPORTANT!!! Always inform people that there’s no opt-in required to get access to your free product and inform them of your extra bonus

Two Extra Tips To Improve Your Chances Of Getting Affiliate Approval

1.NEVER Lie In Your Request Notes

Don’t tell a vendor that you have a big email list or a loyal following when you’ve made ZERO sales. Or even worse tell them that you’ve made hundreds of sales on other affiliate networks when there is absolutely no proof of it.

Without proof, it’s all hot air and you sound like every other affiliate who’s trying to bullshit their way to approval. I get it, you want to impress the vendor. That’s fine but instead of lying through your teeth do it by working your ass off and look legit.

2.DO NOT Namedrop In Your Request Notes

This is probably one of the WORST things you could do! Never tell a vendor that your taking a course or training from another marketer/vendor because dropping names can actually work against you.

Here’s why. The vendor you’re approaching to request approval from may dislike the vendor whose name you’re dropping. In that case you’ll end up getting tarred with the same brush and denied without a second thought.

Now guys, this was it, put this simple strategy to get approved as an affiliate on Warrior Plus fast into action, and you’ll see your affiliate score going up faster than you could ever imagine.
