The only list you’ll be able to build with solo ads will be a churn and burn one…but I had no clue on how to monetize such a list at that time.

So my list of about a thousand people, which I had painstakingly assembled through solo ads, was not delivering the results I had hoped for.

I took the plunge and decided to promote my first affiliate product on WarriorPlus. It was a modest $9.95 product.

I sent out several emails to my list, but guess what? Not a single sale was made. Zilch, Nothing, Nada.

I didn’t give up though. I sent a couple more emails, and finally managed to secure five sales of that $9.95 product, which meant I earned a total of around $50 with the full commissions.

But then, I saw the leader board, and guess who was missing from it? Yours truly.

I distinctly remember a few names near the very top: Marlon Sanders, James Scholes and John Thornhill. They were racking up all these sales, and there I was, wondering why I couldn’t achieve the same.

But here’s the real kicker…I did spent around $900 to build that list and none of those buyers went for the up-sells.

So, my earnings stopped at $50 and I was a whopping $850 in the red. Talk about disappointment, right?

After a few more unsuccessful attempts at affiliate promotions, I came to a harsh realization. It was all my fault. My list was simply terrible.

The truth was, those guys on top of the leader boards had all the skills and knowledge that I didn’t have at that time. They had valuable experience, but above all, they had an audience.

Now, let’s fast forward to today. I’m pretty darn confident that I could compete with those guys because I do things differently from most people.

But you know what sparked this change? It was when I realized the immense importance of having an audience. That was the turning point for me, my friend.

Now, let’s talk about how I’ve built my audience. One major part of it is my YouTube channel.

Another crucial element is my blog . It’s another significant part of my audience-building strategy.

And last but not least I have an email list.

I’m really invested in engaging with the people on my email list, and I make sure to reply personally to anyone who reaches out with a problem or question.

No one gets ignored. I make it a point to respond to everyone who emails me.

An Easy 3-Step Action Plan To Make Money With Affiliate Marketing Without Showing Your Face

In this post I’m going to outline a simple strategy to make money with affiliate marketing without showing your face.

Not only are we going to do it remaining completely anonymous, but we’re also going to do it without having a blog or website, and we’re going to do it by using a very underrated free traffic source.

Now I’m just going to be honest, showing your face in a simple video or at least a photo of yourself is definitely going to get you more sales because it builds more trust and likeability.

I know not everyone is comfortable doing that but don’t worry there is still hope. All you have to do is follow along and implement the steps that I’ve laid out for you in this post.

So without further ado… let’s get started

Step 1 Find A Product To Sell

You will need to find a high quality product that is already proven to sell.

If you picked your niche already – that’s great. Just head over to Google and search for the best products in your niche that have an affiliate program.

For example, if you do a Google search for best keto affiliate products then you’re going to find several posts where you’ll get some great ideas for affiliate products that you can promote.

If you haven’t found your niche yet, what I would do is just head over to Clickbank, go into the marketplace and just hit on the search icon.

By doing so all of the products on Clickbank are going to show up. Then you sort the results by gravity, which means that the top selling products are going to show up first.

Just look through this list and see if you can find some products that are appealing to you in a niche that you are at least a bit interested in.

Make sure that you choose a product that has a JV page for affiliates. On that page you’ll find all the resources and tools that you can use in your promotion such as email swipes, graphics and banners

Once you’ve found a suitable product to promote, get your affiliate link and save it somewhere on your computer.

And that brings us to…

Step 2 Build Your Funnel

There are a few different ways you can build a funnel and I’m going to give you some very basic examples.

First, you can build a simple pre-sell page with the most important information about the product and a button that is going to take the visitor straight to the sales page.

This is a very simple approach but it isn’t the most effective way of doing things. There is a far better way that is at least going to double your sales.

Instead of sending people straight to the sales page, I would have some way to capture their email address first.

By doing that you’re building an email list and you could set up an automated email sequence with several different emails promoting your affiliate offer.

On your landing page you want to create some curiosity about your offer and insert a button that says something like “Yes I Want To Learn More” or “Watch This Video Now”

When people click that button a pop-up shows up where they have to enter their name and email address. After that they will be redirected to the sales page.

The third way you could set up your funnel is to have a free lead magnet. You’re not selling anything here, you’re just giving away something for free that is highly related to your paid offer.

When people enter their email address they get your free lead magnet and then they’re added to your email list.

The key here is to have an email sequence of at least 7 emails that are being sent out, where you give value and build rapport with your subscriber.

Once you’ve gained their trust you can start to gently promote your paid offers.

Whichever way you choose to go, these are all simple funnels that don’t require technical skills to set them up. If you can drag & drop and copy & paste then you are good to go.

Step 3 Getting Traffic

To get traffic to your funnel we’re gonna use what I would call an underrated free traffic source.

Nowadays it’s being talked about more and more but still I feel like it is underrated. That traffic source is Pinterest.

The great thing about Pinterest is first of all, you don’t have to show your face. You can just create pins and post them on the platform.

Also, if you take a look at some facts about Pinterest you see that 48% of it’s visitors use the platform for shopping purposes.

That of course is great because what we are trying to do here is to sell our product through Pinterest.

Once you have your affiliate product and funnel set up, all you need to do is create content related to that product and send people to your funnel.

To create your pins you can use a free tool called Canva and you just create a new design. Search for Pinterest and they have a bunch of templates that you can use for your pins.

The main goal of your pins should be to get clicks to your funnel and there are a few things I found that really helps to get more clicks and more impressions.

1.Make it very clear what your pin is about.

If you’re selling woodworking plans for example, then use the keyword woodworking plan.

Use that keyword in the pin title, in the pin description, in the image, in the pin board name, and preferably on the page that you are linking to.

By doing so, you have that keyword in all those places and Pinterest will know instantly what your pin is about.

2.Make use of long tail keywords.

For example, I’m in the make money online niche and if I try to make a pin titled ” The Best Way To Make Money Online” it usually flops.

However if I get more specific and use long tail keywords like “The Best Side Hustle For Men Without Technical Skills In 2022” it usually does a lot better.

So try to be specific with your keywords and use long tail keywords.

The great thing about this strategy is that once your funnel is up and running, all you really have to do is double down on Pinterest and start uploading pins consistently.

Every pin should have a link that points back to your squeeze page, and after a while you can start adding to your email sequence and promote other related products.

Do keep in mind that getting your first commission is probably not going to happen overnight. It will take work and dedication from you. Give it time, be consistent, and you’ll reap the rewards later.

T stands for “Traffic”

This is the traffic you’ll get from product reviews and value posts, as well as visitors searching Blogger for niche related content/articles. The more popular your niche, the more traffic you will receive.

This of course stands for the money you’ll earn whenever you make an affiliate sale!

Think about it…this entire process won’t cost you a dime ’cause the blog is free, and becoming an affiliate on Clickbank.com, Digistore24.com, JV Zoo or whatever platform you prefer, are ALL 100% FREE.

When your articles are keyword optimized you’ll get traffic from the search engines which is also 100% FREE and you can use various social media networks and/or YouTube to drive extra traffic to your blog. Really, that is all it takes to make money with a blog.

There are lots of marketers who use this method to make tons of money. On top of that, you can scale this method beyond your wildest dreams. The more articles you have out there, the more money you’ll make.

If you’re writing skills are absolutely terrible you can always outsource the writing process. This would be an expense and it could cost you anywhere from $5 – $50 per article depending on the quality and the word count of the article.

Clickbank is completely free to sign up for and you basically only need to create a username and a password and your good to go.

Once you finished the sign up process, you’ll need to search the marketplace for niches and products to promote! All you have to do is click the little “Marketplace” button at the top of the website.

Most products listed on Clickbank are “digital” products. They are labeled as digital products because they can be downloaded shortly after purchase and there is no need for shipping or receiving physical goods.

On the left side you’ll find a menu where you can select different categories and subcategories.

Once you’ve picked your favorite category, you’ll be taken to a page full of listings of products to promote. On this page you’ll get all the important information such as product price, commission percentage, and the gravity.

The gravity reflects how many affiliates earned a commission for that particular product in the past 30 days. Most vendors will also have a link to a JV Page where you’ll find everything you need to promote the product, such as banners, email swipes and in some cases dfy articles. And of course, you can also view the sales page, which is where you’ll be making your money.

The products on Clickbank are great to promote because they pay out incredibly high commissions to their affiliates.The majority of vendors will pay out a 75% commission!

If you were to promote a $47 product, you would be able to make $32.50 for each copy sold. The coolest part is that you don’t even have to sell them the product, since the sales page is designed to do the selling on your behalf. Your only job is to send potential customers to your affiliate link.

An ‘affiliate link’ is a link which is given to you in order for you to promote a specific product. That link will lead the visitor to the page where the product vendor sells the product, but it will have YOUR affiliate ID in the URL.

Your affiliate ID will be the username that you’ve chosen when you signed up for a Clickbank account.

Here is an example of an affiliate link or a Hoplink as Clickbank likes to call it :

http://YourAffiliateID.ProductName.Hop.Clickbank.Net

Needless to say, but you should replace “YourAffiliateID” with your actual username. The “Product Name” is the code name of the product but this will be filled in automatically when you request your link.

All you have to do is click on the “Create Hoplink” tab directly beneath the product that you want to promote.

The magic of your affiliate link is that it sends your visitors to the exact page they would have seen if they hadn’t been referred by you.The only difference is that because your affiliate code is placed within the link, you get the commission and the money is deposited into your Clickbank account.

And here is where your review blog comes into play. Post product reviews for Clickbank offers on your blog and put your affiliate link at the bottom of your reviews. A percentage of visitors to your blog who read the reviews will click on your affiliate link. Out of those people, some might actually buy the product once they visit the link.

A common conversion rate is 2%. So, out of every 100 visitors to your affiliate link, you should have 2 buyers.

If one sale would make you $32.50 you would be looking at an average of $65 per 100 visitors. It’s really not that hard to drive 100 visitors to your blog…and even much more.

Step 2 Sign Up With Blogger.com

Once you create an account, you can start and build as many blogs as you want, right away. It literally takes minutes to get started. If you don’t have a Google account already you will have to create one, but that is 100% free.

Then, by clicking on the “Create a Blog” link, you will be sent to the “Create a Blog” section.

Here you’ll need to create a name and a domain for your blog. Choose a name that is either related to your niche or product you’re promoting. The domain name will be the web address that people type into their browser to visit your blog.

Step 3 Pick A Product To Promote

Return to the Clickbank Marketplace and pick a product or products to promote. Here you can pick a category and even a sub-category. For example, a popular niche is “E-Business & E-Marketing” while the most popular sub-categories are “Affiliate Marketing” and “Email Marketing”.

Step 4 Write Your Product Review

Remember, you are marketing a product here…the product is already made. Your only job is to find the people who need the information you are offering, and then give it to them.

Write your reviews in an informal way as if you were talking to a friend. Give them the ins and outs of the product without being salesy. You don’t have to write a sales pitch…the sales page for the product you’re promoting will have one already. All you need to do is to guide people to the sales page.

In a review you should always include the product name, creator of the product, explain what the products are about and of course the price. Always inform your readers about the upgrades and talk about the pros and cons of the product.

A review video together with your article could lead to even higher conversions. Another thing you can do is offer a free bonus to people who buy through your link.

This will lead to even higher conversions as it forces people to buy through your link and not other people’s affiliate links.

Don’t try to optimize your reviews solely for the search engines. Optimize them for the people who visit your site and read the reviews. If you do this, you’ll get more people to your site, so the search engine numbers will take care of themselves.

Here are some essential SEO guidelines for product reviews:

● Try to go for at least 700 – 1200 words
● Your keyword must be in the opening paragraph

To get the most out of these reviews I strongly advice you to rewrite them so they’ll become unique. A tool like Quillbot can be very handy to quickly come up with fresh and unique content without lowering the quality of the original review/article.

Step 5 Add Your Affiliate Link To The Review

The best place to add your affiliate link would be at the bottom of your review. At the end, you want to give a strong “Call to action” to persuade the reader to click on your affiliate link.

For example, “Click Here To Check Out (ProductNameHere) and (Something positive that the product will do for them).”

So, your call to action at the end of the product review would look something like this:

Step 6 Drive Traffic To Your Blog

You wouldn’t want random site traffic, you need ‘targeted’ traffic. Visitors that are interested in the product you are reviewing are considered targeted traffic.

They are really interested in what you have to offer. And that’s the beauty of niche marketing, you find people who need what you have to offer and just deliver it to them. It’s easy money, and you’re helping people along the way.

Apart from using SEO techniques when you write your reviews there are a lot of other ways to drive additional traffic to your blog.

Here are just a few examples:

• Facebook Pages & Facebook Groups
• Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter,…
• Medium, Quora, Yahoo Answers,…
• Classified Ads & Paid Ads
• YouTube, Daily Motion, Vimeo,..

The more targeted leads you drive to your website…the more sales you will make. It’s simple, but it does take work.

First And Foremost…Are Bribes And Bonuses Really Necessary?

This topic has been frequently discussed, particularly in the ‘make money online’ niche. Many affiliates often stack 20 to 50 or more ‘free goodies’ for buyers who purchase through the affiliate’s link.

We’re going to build our bonus page using Google Sites. If you wonder why we’re using Google Sites, let me explain.

First of all, it’s 100% free to use and the only thing that you need is a Google account. So, if you don’t have a google account yet, then head over to Google and create one.

Secondly, this page builder is very easy to use so even people with no technical skills whatsoever are able to build an eye-catching page.

And last but not least, Google sites is probably the only free page builder that will not show any annoying third-party ads on your page. This is very important because on your bonus page the only clickable links should be your affiliate links.

Anyways, enough chit chat so let’s get cracking. You can basically watch over my shoulder as I create the page from start to finish.

Right then, now that you’ve got your bonus page up and running it’s time for the last phase of this process…

How To Deliver The Bonuses To Your Customers

To keep things simple we’re going to use a couple of other free services from Google, such as Google Drive, Google Docs and YouTube.

1.Step 1 – Google Drive

Google Drive is a cloud based storage where you can store your PDF and ZIP files, or other types of documents that you want to give away as a bonus. Google Drive is completely free to use and they offer up to 15 GB of storage space, which is more than enough to get started.

Once you’ve uploaded your files you can create a shareable link. That’s the link that you need to paste into your Google Doc (see Step 3).

2.Step 2 – YouTube

If you’re giving away videos, whether it be your own or videos that you have the rights for, you want to upload them to YouTube and keep them as unlisted.

This way your videos are hosted on YouTube but they are not visible for the main public. Only people who have the video link will be able to watch these videos.

It’s needless to say that this is the link that you want to to paste into your Google Doc (see Step 3).

3.Step 3 – Google Docs

Your Google Doc will literally function as your download page. On this document you want to put all the links that you’ve previously created within Google Drive or YouTube. If you’ve got the rights to give away entire courses you can also put that access link on your Google Doc.

When you’ve pasted all the links into your Google Doc, you want to create a shareable link. That’s the link that you want to share with your customers.

If you’re promoting products from market places such as Warrior Plus, JV Zoo or Paykickstart, you’ll be able to deliver your bonuses automatically.

Just paste your link in the box that says ” Buyer Bonus URL” and a blue access button will be added. This button will give your customer access to the bonuses.

Unfortunately, ClickBank doesn’t provide this service. When you’re promoting a ClickBank offer you will have to deliver your bonuses the old fashioned way. In other words, you’ll have to provide the “bonus link” to your customer via email.

Building A Buyers List By Delivering Your Bonuses

The biggest disadvantage of being an affiliate is that you don’t collect the email addresses from your customers. That privilege is reserved for the vendors only.

But building a buyers list is very important. As a matter of fact, it will be the most valuable asset of your entire business because people who have purchased from you will be much more likely to buy again.

When you have a list of buyers, you can always promote new products that will appeal to these people and you will be able to generate sales over and over. There is no limit to what you can achieve. Luckily, there is an easy way to build a buyers list as an affiliate.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Instead of providing a direct link to your Google Doc you want to send people to an opt-in form first.

So, you’ll need to create a list inside your auto-responder and call it “bonus_buyer_list”. Once your list is created you’ll need to create a simple sign-up form.

Connect that sign-up form with the list you’ve created and with the URL of your Google Doc. Let your auto-responder host the sign-up form and copy the URL that will be given to you. Paste the URL of your auto-responder in the “Buyer Bonus URL” box and click save.

Now your customers have to fill in the form first before they’re redirected to your Google Doc. They will get there bonuses and you will have their email address, so everybody wins!
